Conference Parking

Parking Symbol Parking

ALL vehicles must display a valid Texas A&M University parking permit when parked on University property (other than visitor parking areas). New Student Conference (NSC) attendees should purchase a NSC permit OR lot-specific parking permit to park on campus OR pay to park in a visitor facility. Attendees should select the option below that best meets their needs:

New Student Conference Parking Permit
The NSC permit allows attendees to park in the following lots: PA 30, PA 40, PA 43, PA 50, PA 61, PA 62, PA 64,  PA 71, PA 97, PA 100 and Southside Garage.  See website for Map: http://transport.tamu.edu.  The cost for a NSC permit is $12 and is only valid during the conference . NSC Permits are available for purchase online only and are non-refundable. NSC Permit must be purchased online: http://transport.tamu.edu/specialevents/nsc.aspx Attendees purchasing a NSC conference permit will print the permit during the purchasing process. Permits should be displayed on dashboard while parked on campus.

May 19-20 Conference
NSC attendees who purchase a summer permit for the purpose of parking while attending summer school DO NOT need to purchase a separate permit to park for NSC. The summer permit is valid in all NSC lots.

August 19-20 Conference
In lieu of purchasing a NSC permit, attendees who have ordered and received their fall 2008 permit may choose to use their fall 2008 permit. Beginning August 16, attendees using their fall permit for New Student Conferences must park in the lot designated on the permit only. Parking will not be allowed in any lot other than the one designated on the fall 2007 permit. The permit must be displayed at all times when parking on campus.

Alternative Parking Options
If attendees do not wish to purchase one of the above permits, they may park in University Center Garage, West Campus Garage, or Central Campus Garage according to the hourly rates. Payment will be required upon exiting the garage. See website (transport.tamu.edu)for more about the garages and rates.
