Aggie Orientation Leaders
The Aggie Orientation Leader Program is a
student organization made up of student leaders who volunteer their time to
assist in welcoming new students and parents to Aggieland during the New Student
Conferences. Orientation Leaders seek to create an atmosphere that minimizes
anxiety, promotes positive attitudes and stimulates excitement for learning in
all Texas A&M students. During the New Student Conferences, Orientation
Leaders (OLs) can be easily identified by their distinctive maroon shirts,
welcoming smiles, and their desire to help make the conference a memorable and
fun experience.

Admissions Staff
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is
responsible not only for the processing of your application and notification of
your acceptance, but also for your registration during a New Student Conference
(NSC). The NSC registration materials for Fall admits are generally mailed out
in mid to late spring. The conferences are assigned on a first come first served
basis. The earlier you return your conference materials, the better your chances
of getting one of the three conferences dates that you prefer. For information
concerning your actual conference registration, please contact:

Conference Housing Staff
The Department of Residence Life Staff invites
new students and parents to stay in the residence halls during summer
conferences. The conference housing staff consists of graduate and
undergraduate student staff members who are responsible for checking new
students and family members into their conference residence hall room/suite and
insuring a comfortable stay. The Commons Lobby student staff work 24 hours
a day to provide conference guests with a full service conference front
desk. You are encouraged to take advantage of the added convenience of
staying on campus near meeting rooms, food services, and parking. Mail in
your New Student Conference housing reservation form when you receive your
conference date confirmation from Undergraduate Admissions.
