Howdy Class of 2022!

Welcome to the Aggie Family! At your New Student Conference (NSC) you will learn how to take full advantage of all the academic programs, student life services and extracurricular activities Texas A&M University has to offer. As a new undergraduate student, you are required to register for and attend a New Student Conference in order to register for classes.

Follow these steps to prepare in advance of your NSC:

Register for your New Student Conference

Accepting your offer of admission and registering for an NSC is the first step in the process of becoming an Aggie. Click here for detailed instructions. NSC dates for Spring and Summer 2018 are available below.

Fulfill all NSC Requirements

The State of Texas requires all students under the age of 22 to provide current proof of vaccination against bacterial meningitis or meet certain requirements for declining such a vaccination. In addition, all students must complete required testing before the New Student Conference. Read more and review a checklist in the Applicant Information System.

Register Family Members & Guests

Register family members and guests for the New Student Conference via the Application Information System at applicant.tamu.edu. Family and guest registration will be available online until five business days prior to the conference. For more information on family and guest registration, read our Family Registration FAQs.

Arrange Overnight Accommodations & Parking

Both days of the New Student Conference are mandatory, so you’ll need overnight accommodations for at least one night. On-campus and off-campus accommodations are available during summer New Student Conferences. On-campus overnight accommodations are not available during January New Student Conferences.

For hotel/motel accommodations in Bryan/College Station, please contact the Convention & Visitor’s Bureau at (979) 260-9999, or visit: http://www.experiencebcs.com/hotels.

You may also arrange on-campus parking accommodations during the NSC. Click here to review parking options for the January 2018 New Student Conference.
