Congratulations on being accepted to Texas A&M University! Now that you’ve been admitted, it’s time to start preparing for your New Student Conference, the first official step in your journey to becoming an Aggie. Here are things you need to do before you head to Aggieland:
What to do prior to your conference:
-
-
- Confirm your New Student Conference Date: Log in to Applicant Information System using your NETID to confirm your date. Feel free to print the confirmation page and bring it to your NSC.
- Complete your AIS Checklist: Log in to the Applicant Information System using your NETID to see your AIS checklist. Use the checklist as a guide for what you still have left to accomplish.
- Complete online orientation: All new incoming students are required to complete the NSC Online Orientation prior to their NSC check-in. A registration hold will be placed on students’ accounts and will only be removed once the required orientation is fully complete. Information covered on Day 2 will be referenced throughout the NSC programs.
- Submit Required Immunization Information: All students under the age of 22 entering an institution of higher education institution are required by law to provide proof of vaccination against bacterial meningitis. Students who have not provided documentation of vaccination prior to their NSC will have a registration hold placed on their account.
- Take Care of Logistics: Your NSC registration fee includes one parking pass for your NSC. All vehicles must display a valid Texas A&M University permit even during the NSC (other than in visitor parking areas). Visit TAMU Parking for more info.
