New Student Conferences moving to fully virtual experience
April 1, 2020 11 a.m. CDT
Due to the on-going concerns regarding COVID-19, Texas A&M University has decided to cancel in-person New Student Conferences (NSC) for summer 2020 and move them to a fully virtual experience.
Through a virtual format we will provide content for students and family members that create ways for you to foster virtual communities to help your transition to Texas A&M.
Students will maintain the NSC date for which they are registered, and you will receive access to the virtual content the week of your NSC. We know you have many questions about this new format, and we will work to answer them as we move forward. You will receive direct updates through your personal and Texas A&M Gmail accounts, and we will post up-to-date information on this website as well as through social media platforms.
We have established this website to assist with basic FAQs, such as fees and access, and will continually add information as it becomes known. At this time, email (nsfp@tamu.edu) is the best method of communication with our office. Questions by phone will experience a delayed response.
Your patience is appreciated as we work through multiple layers of implementing a virtual experience for 14,000 incoming students and their 16,000 family members/guests. We look forward to creating a positive and supportive experience for you in your transition to Texas A&M.
Stay safe, be well, and Gig ‘em!
