Student Leadership
As part of Student Life, our office is dedicated to welcoming and supporting new Aggies and their families through every step of their journey. Our student leaders, including orientation leaders, parent and family ambassadors, and bilingual translators, play a vital role in fostering community, offering guidance, and creating a meaningful Aggie experience for all. Explore the groups below to learn more about their mission and how they are making a difference on campus and beyond.

Our Student Groups
Aggie Orientation Leaders (AOLs) are enthusiastic current students who serve as mentors and guides during the New Student Conference. They play a crucial role in welcoming new Aggies, sharing campus traditions, and offering insights to help both students and families feel at home. Through their leadership and support, AOLs help make the transition to Texas A&M a positive and memorable experience.
New Student Conference en Español Student Interpreters are bilingual Aggie leaders who assist Spanish-speaking families and students during orientation events. Through translation and support, they help ensure all Aggie families feel welcomed and informed as they join the university community.
Aggie Parent and Family Ambassadors are student leaders dedicated to supporting new Aggie families by sharing campus resources, answering questions, and offering guidance throughout the year. They help foster a welcoming environment and serve as a vital link between Texas A&M and the families it serves.

Howdy Week Ambassadors
Howdy Week Ambassadors help kick off the fall semester by assisting with Texas A&M’s official welcome. These student leaders help create engaging experiences for new and returning Aggies as they connect with campus, build community, and celebrate the start of a new year in Aggieland.
