NSC Registration
We look forward to seeing you at your NSC!

How to Register Online for the NSC
You will need to register online for your NSC by the deadline indicated in your acceptance letter. Once these dates pass, you may no longer accept your offer of admission or register for an NSC. Please review your Letter of Acceptance and corresponding Now That You’re Admitted guide before selecting your conference date.
- Go to the Applicant Information System (AIS) applicant.tamu.edu.
- Under the My App Status tab, you will see your admission decision. If you have been accepted to the university, the My Next Steps button will appear. Click this button.
- Follow the steps shown on the screen to register for an NSC and accept the admission offer.
Cost
Attending the New Student Conference involves a required fee that covers meals, program materials, and access to orientation activities.

Freshman NSC
For freshmen students, the non-refundable Conference fee of $225 is required to secure your place in a conference.
This fee includes all NSC materials and programming, meals, one NSC parking permit, a t-shirt, and one family/guest registration.

Transfer NSC
For transfer students, the non-refundable Conference fee of $153 is required to secure your place in a conference.
This fee includes all NSC materials and programming, meals, one NSC parking permit, and a t-shirt.

Deferrals
NSC fees can be deferred if you used an application fee waiver for the Texas A&M application for admission. NSC fee deferral means the fee will be added to your tuition bill. You may choose this option online during NSC registration allowing you to register without making a payment.
Next Steps
Once registration is complete, a confirmation page will appear indicating your conference date and your non-refundable payment information. If you have provided an email address during NSC registration, you should also receive a confirmation email indicating the date you have selected and your payment status. A task list will appear in your AIS Portal once NSC registration is complete. Use this list to help complete the additional steps needed; several must be completed at least a week before your NSC. Finally, don’t forget to register family and guests attending the NSC with you and reserve NSC overnight accommodations if desired.
