NSC Breakout Sessions & Resource Tables

You have a variety of programs to attend on the first day of your NSC. While your NSC schedule will have a number of pre-assigned sessions to attend, you can customize your schedule by selecting 2 breakout sessions to attend during Day 1. Students sign up for their sessions through the link in your Checklist Items in the Applicant Information System (AIS) at applicant.tamu.edu. You are required to complete your session selection at least two business days prior to your NSC to produce your customized schedule.

Family members and guests will attend the same breakout session selected by their students. Capacities are limited for each session; therefore, your options will be limited based on availability. All presentations will be posted on the New Aggie website if you would like to revisit a presentation or view one that you may have missed.

Your confirmed schedule for Day 1 presentations, based on your chosen selections, will be emailed to you the day before your scheduled conference date.

In addition to breakout sessions, you will have the opportunity to visit various resource tables. Campus resources, offices, and departments will be set up in the Memorial Student Center 12th Man Hallway from 12:30-1:45 p.m.

Details for the second day of your conference vary by academic unit. You will automatically be placed in the appropriate meetings throughout Day 2 based on your major and do not have to make selections for that day.

Below are full descriptions of each program.
