NSC Session Selection
You have a variety of programs to attend on the first day of your NSC. While your NSC schedule will have a number of pre-assigned sessions to attend, you can customize your schedule by selecting 2 breakout sessions to attend at the end of Day 1. Students sign-up for their sessions through the link in your Checklist Items in the Applicant Information System (AIS) at applicant.tamu.edu. You are required to complete your session selection at least two days prior to your NSC in order to produce your customized schedule.
Family members and guest will attend the same breakout session selected by their student. Capacities are limited for each session, therefore your options will be limited based on availability. All presentations will be posted on the New Aggie website if you would like to revisit a presentation or view one that you may have missed.
Your confirmed schedule for Day 1 presentations, based on the selections you have chosen, will be emailed to you the day before your scheduled conference date.
Details for the second day of your conference vary by academic unit. You will automatically be placed in the appropriate meetings throughout Day 2 based on your major and do not have to make selections for that day.
Below are full descriptions of each program, shorter descriptions are located in the session selection portal. The sessions below are from Summer 2023. Breakout Sessions for Summer 2024 will be announced in May.
