Parking

Texas A&M permits are virtual so your license plate IS your permit. Vehicles parking on Texas A&M University campus must have a valid parking assignment or park in pay-by-the-hour visitor parking areas. Please read all information before arriving for your New Student Conference.

New Student Conference attendees receive one parking permit (one permit equals one vehicle) included with student registration. The most convenient NSC parking permit location to check in is the West Campus Garage (Address: 201 John Kimbrough Blvd, College Station, TX 77840). Review the NSC parking map a map is available at transport.tamu.edu/NSCmap.

To access your NSC Parking Permit:

  1. Visit transport.tamu.edu.
  2. Click "My Account" in the upper right-hand corner.
  3. Use your NetID and Password to log in.
  4. Select "My Permits."
  5. Select your permit under "My Active Permits."
  6. From here you can update your license plate information.

Please note: During NSC registration, you are required to enter a license plate number to ensure you receive your NSC parking permit. Texas A&M has transitioned to virtual parking permits, making your license plate your official parking permit. If you will be renting a car or do not know the vehicle you will be using, you are still required to enter a license plate during registration to receive your assignment. You may log into the NSC portal and change the license plate up to 3 business days before your conference. After that, you may log into your account on transport.tamu.edu to change the license plate.  For additional questions contact Transportation Services at [email protected] or (979) 862-7275.

If you are bringing more than one vehicle to campus, hourly visitor parking is available for your additional vehicle(s). Additionally, if you have already purchased an annual parking permit, you can use it in valid Break & Summer Parking areas.

Further information regarding campus parking, including maps, is available at transport.tamu.edu/parking.
