Parking
Texas A&M permits are virtual so your license plate IS your permit. Vehicles parking on Texas A&M University campus must have a valid parking assignment or park in pay-by-the-hour visitor parking areas. Please read all information before arriving for your New Student Conference.
New Student Conference attendees receive one parking permit (one permit equals one vehicle) included with student registration. You can access your NSC parking permit via transport.tamu.edu. To access West Campus Garage, simply access the permit and scan the barcode to enter and exit the garage. Parking locations are listed on the permit and a map is available at transport.tamu.edu/NSCmap.
To access and print your NSC Parking Permit:
- Visit transport.tamu.edu
- Click "My Account" in the upper right hand corner.
- Use your NetID and Password to log in.
- Select "My Permits"
- Select your permit under "My Active Permits"
- Scan the barcode on your permit via phone or printed permit to gain access to the garage.
Please note: During NSC registration, you are required to enter a license plate number to ensure you receive your NSC parking permit. If you will be renting a car or do not know the vehicle you will be using, you are still required to enter a license plate during registration in order to receive your assignment. You may log in and change the license plate up to 14 days before your conference. After that, you may contact Transportation Services at (979) 862-7275 or parking@tamu.edu to change the vehicle on your permit if needed.
If you are bringing more than one vehicle to campus, hourly visitor parking is available for your additional vehicle(s). Additionally, if you have already purchased an annual parking permit, you can use it in valid Break & Summer Parking areas.
Further information regarding campus parking, including maps, is available at transport.tamu.edu/parking.
