SPRING 2026

Not all colleges participate in each New Student Conference. When logging into the Applicant Information System (AIS) to accept your offer of admission and register for an NSC, the dates shown are based on your college's participation and the seats available. When all seats are filled, the NSC date is no longer shown as an option in AIS. Review the sample schedule for information about sessions you will attend during your New Student Conference.

Attendance at the full New Student Conference is required in order to register for classes at Texas A&M.

In addition to the Military Student Session of the New Student Conference, incoming Aggie Veterans (including all current service members and veterans) must attend Vet Camp. This dedicated, Aggie Veteran-only experience is designed to help with the unique transitional needs of Aggie Veterans. These students will receive additional communication about Vet Camp from the Veteran Resource and Support Center. More information about services for military-affiliated students can be found at newaggie.tamu.edu/veteran.

SUMMER 2026

Not all colleges participate in each New Student Conference. When logging into the Applicant Information System (AIS) to accept your offer of admission and register for an NSC, the dates shown are based on your college's participation and the seats available. When all seats are filled, the NSC date is no longer shown as an option in AIS.

Attendance at the full New Student Conference is required in order to register for classes at Texas A&M.

  • 2-Day Conferences: Students must attend both days in their entirety. Day 1 typically begins at mid-morning and ends late afternoon. Day 2 typically begins around 8 a.m. (unless otherwise communicated by your academic college) and ends in the early afternoon. A full schedule is coming soon.

  • 1-Day Conferences: Students must attend the full day. The schedule runs from 7:30 a.m. until approximately 5 p.m. A full schedule is coming soon.

Both the 1-day and 2-day New Student Conferences offer the same experience, providing full access to a meal, orientation programming, advising, and course registration. The only difference is the schedule length; your orientation experience and resources remain the same regardless of the format.

Below, all conference dates are listed by format: 2-day conferences first, followed by 1-day conferences. Each section includes both freshman and transfer dates. Please focus only on the dates that match your student type. When you register in your applicant portal (AIS), only the dates that apply to you will appear.
