Welcome to the Aggie Family! We’re excited you decided to continue your education here at Texas A&M. As a transfer student, you bring valuable college and life experiences to our community. Whether you are transferring from a community college or a 4-year institution, we know you’re not new to college, but are new to Texas A&M. Because of that, we’ve designed a New Student Conference with knowledge specific to joining the Aggie Family. Your transition to Aggieland begins with your NSC and it’s a critical component of your success at Texas A&M University.
All transfer students are required to register for and attend a New Student Conference in order to register for classes. Your family is encouraged to attend the conference with you to participate in programs designed for family members and learn more about what you will be experiencing as a new Aggie.
Follow these steps to prepare in advance of your NSC:
Accepting your offer of admission and registering for an NSC is the first step in the process of becoming an Aggie. Click here for detailed instructions. NSC dates for Spring 2018 are available below.
