Families & Guests

Texas A&M University believes that the college experience represents a collaboration involving the student, the family of the student and the University. Although completion of a New Student Conference is required for students only, we invite you to participate in our NSC programs specifically designed for parents and family members. By participating, you will become informed about the University’s academic programs, policies, facilities and services.

At in-person conferences, you will have the opportunity to meet faculty, staff, other family members and student Orientation Leaders. While all family members are welcome to attend, the conference activities are not designed for the enjoyment of younger children, so if possible, alternate arrangements are encouraged. We recommend bringing two or less family members/guests per student.
